The time of year is coming very quickly when television reception along the South Coast, especially  Bognor Regis, Littlehampton, Worthing and Brighton, will being to suffer from high pressure interference.

When high pressure weather systems settles over the south coast this allows television signals from France to travel across the channel and interfere with UK television signals from Rowridge. The reverse happens in France as well.

Once the Digital Switch Over has been completed the occurance of this problem should reduce because the Rowridge transmitter will have duel transmission. This plus changing the frequencies used for the TV programes in both the UK and France is hoped will remove this problem once and for all.
